At Times, Be Gentle with Being Wrong

Human beings are not as capable of processing things correctly as we tend to believe.

This is a message not only for how we view others, but also for how we treat ourselves:

Just because something is wrong does not mean you are inferior.

Even adults make countless mistakes.

In fact, we are always full of them.

And perhaps it is precisely the strength to say, “I made a mistake”, and accept it,

That makes an adult truly an adult.

Although this may sound somewhat sentimental, when I look at reality, having lived for nearly forty years, I have rarely encountered someone who could genuinely be called a mature adult—someone capable of acknowledging their own mistakes.

(If I were to count, it would be no more than a handful.)

Naturally, this way of being isolates you. I have yet to meet someone who truly resonates with this stance or its underlying philosophy.

Most people dismiss such values simply because they “do not generate money”.

So I have come to treat almost everyone I meet as a kind of negative example— learning what not to become.
